Embracing Growing Technology
Ever heard of the term ‘survival of the fittest’? Perhaps at school or somewhere else? I bet you have. It makes you think about how best to fit in, cope and survive. I believe, literally speaking, the world sort of is the ‘survival of the fittest’ in a way.
Let us talk about our roles in the modernization of the world through technology. The reason why I brought this up is because we sometimes don’t notice that we are actually exposed to newly created things or product from time to time. Haven’t you given any thought to how we came to use phones so easily or how we casually change our ways and deviating from common and accustomed things to help us deal with certain matters?
It’s safe to say that we are now existing in a modern world wherein we are empowered with new technology. Everything has become easier and much more convenient for us now.
I believe people are born curious and imaginative in different ways. I believe technology has always been there throughout, it’s just a matter of exploring more and surrounding yourself with curiosity to discover new technology.
Come to think of it, I remember reading in various history books that people way back never even used proper clothing, let alone proper tools. Their hygiene wouldn’t have been great either, but nevertheless they still survived until they reached their end. People learn and find ways to come up with new necessities in life by experimenting until they discover what suits them best.
Some time ago, due to consequences of failing to communicate easily with each other because of distance, people started to use various ways to lessen the burden of being disconnected from each other, until that is, the telephone was invented.
Can you imagine yourself being alive that long ago? Without the advanced products we are enjoying right now? Despite many things already existed in ancient times, like cosmetics for example, but not at the level or technology that they exist today. Before, they were happy with using a knife to cut their hair and beard, but now, we have razors, and we even have shaving cream that can be used to shave your facial hair.
These are only a few of the benefits we get from the innovation caused by technology. That is why I think we should be thankful for it. It makes our lives easier and more convenient.
